महायान सूत्र

महायान सूत्र (पाली: महायान सुत्त) बौद्ध ग्रंथांची एक विस्तृत शैली आहे ज्यात महायान बौद्ध धर्माच्या विविध परंपरा स्विकृत केलेल्या आहेत. मुख्यत्वे चिनी बौद्ध धर्मगुरू, तिबेटी बौद्ध सिद्धांतामध्ये आणि विद्यमान संस्कृत हस्तलिखितांमध्ये जतन केले जातात. संस्कृतमध्ये सुमारे शंभर महायान सूत्र उपलब्ध आहेत. तसेच ते चिनी आणि तिबेटी भाषांमध्ये देखील आहेत.
