अधिकृत नाव	An act for continuing in the East India Company for a further Term the Possession of the British Territories in India, together with certain exclusive Privileges; for establishing further Regulations for the Government of the said Territories and the better Administration of Justice within the same; and for regulating the Trade to and from the Places within the Limits of the said Company's Charter.

ह्या कायद्याने ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनीला दिलेली २० वर्षांची मुदतवाढ १८१३ मध्ये संपुष्टात आली. हिंदुस्थानात व्यापार करण्याचे कंपनीचे एकाधिकार काढून घेण्यात आले. फक्त चीनबरोबर चहा आणि अफूचा व्यापार करण्याचे सर्वाधिकार कंपनीस देण्यात आले. ख्रिश्चन मिशनऱ्यांना हिंदुस्थानात धर्मप्रचार करण्याची परवानगी देण्यात आली. हिंदुस्थानी नागरिकांच्या शिक्षणावर दरवर्षी एक लाख रुपये खर्च करण्याची सूचना कंपनीला देण्यात आली. कंपनीच्या सर्व व्यवहारांवर ब्रिटिश सरकारचा अंमल प्रस्थापित झाला.
