Update (Nov. 16)[संपादन]

Hi WAM organizers! It's now half way! Good job! Here are some updates:

  • As many of you may notice, that the judging tool has came back to normal.
  • I've set up a result page with some numbers in it. It may not accurate, just as a reference at this time.
  • WAM should get more media coverage. If you can help (either locally or internationally), please let me know!
  • Please considering start judging articles if you have not yet. it's really important to give feedbacks to participants so they can improve articles or get motivated.
  • With your help, I may start the first round of address collection before WAM ends for who already have four accepted articles and organizers, as I promised to improve the postcard sending process this year.
  • Feel free to reach out to me for any question! At my meta talk page.

If you can not submit articles via judging tool, use this meta page to do so. Please spread this message with local participants.
Here are what will come after the end of WAM
  • Make sure you judge all articles before December 5th, and participants who can improve their contribution (not submit) before December 10th.
  • Participates still can submit their contribution in November before December 2nd at this page. Please let your local wiki participates know. Once you finish the judging, please update this page after December 5th
  • There will be three round of address collection scheduled: December 2nd, December 7th, and December 20th.
  • Please report the local Wikipedia Asian Ambassador (who has most accepted articles) on this page, if the 2nd participants has more than 30 accepted articles, you will have two ambassadors.
  • I will announce the name of Wikipedians who will able to pick a Wikimedia T-shirt from Wikimedia Store for free after I re-check their contributions.
  • There will be a progress page for the postcards.
Some Questions
  • It could be a case that local organizer does not agree on an article if shall accept it or not. In this situation, the judging tool will highlight the conflict articles in the "article's list". Please review other's opinion, and resolve the conflict by changing your decision or discuss with other judges.
  • In case you wondering how can you use the WAM tool (Fountain) in your own contest, contact the developer Le Loi for more information.

I have given enough references for this article. Why it has not got accepted for Asian Month. Kindly let me know what more is needed.
I see your all 5 articles has been approved. But not a single should be approved as they are all machine translation, and on many occasions they does not mean anything.

@Nitin.kunjir: I know about the same but your article only has sources at the start please cite sources at every paragraph. About other articles it must be at least 300 words which my judging tool shows me it is less than that so please expand the same and I'll accept it before 10 December as 10 December is the last day to judge do cooperate as the main motive of Wikipedia asian month is quantity work and not much quality it focuses on creating new articles with more content so do the needful and do report me with more than 300 words before 10 December so I'll add it to the lists. --Tiven2240 (चर्चा) १५:२१, ८ डिसेंबर २०१६ (IST)[reply]

Machine Translation Policy[संपादन]

Hi.

First of all Thanks for considering to help Marathi Wikipedia with your edit effort.

Marathi wikipedia does have a local Machine Translation policy and we look forward you to follow the same.


As far as Machine translation are concerned we at Marathi Wikipedia do not encourage bulk Machine Translations. Rare once in a while Machine translation efforts are tagged for further improvement and lingustic study.

.... 7) As of now we do not expect more than 50 sentences or aprox upto 2500 bytes per week for Machine translation with a rider that these translations are improved upon in a weeks time. If any one fails consistently in getting improved his/her content in time bound manner, in such cases more stricter policy will be adopted to maintain minimum level of standard in translated works.

आपणास ईस्ट इंडियन समुदायाच्या बोली बद्दल कल्पना असेल तर संबंधीत बोलीचे नाव साचा:मराठीतील बोलीभाषा यात आहे का पहावे असेल तर लेख चालू करू शकता आणि नसेल तर नाव जोडून सहकार्य करावे अशी नम्र विनंती आहे.

ठिक;

1) ईस्ट इंडियन बोलीभाषा टेबल मध्ये काही मराठी सर्वनाम (Pronouns) शब्द जोडले आहेत. तुम्ही ते शब्दांचे ईस्ट इंडियन बोलीभाषा Synonyms लिहावे, क्रियापद या लेखात काही वाक्ये आणि क्रियापद (व्हर्ब) दिले आहेत ते व्हर्ब व सेंटेन्स ईस्ट इंडियन बोलीभाषा मध्ये कसे लिहिले जाइल ते टेबल मध्ये जोडावे. एक्झांपल म्हणून तू माझा जीव मधील एखाद दोन वाक्येही जोडण्यास हरकत नसावी. गाण्यांच्या एखाद दोन ओळींची उदाहरणे. तुमच्या घरी ईस्ट इंडियन बोलीभाषा वापरुन लिहिलेली जुनी पत्रे असतील तर त्यातील वाक्यांची उदाहरणे सुद्धा उपयूक्त ठरु शकतील.

2) ईस्ट इंडियन बोलीभाषा मधील (कॉपीराईट फ्री) लोकगीतांच्या (उदाहरणार्थ कोळी गिते) म्हणी, वाक्प्रचार इत्यादी जोडण्यास हरकत नसावी.

3) विकिप्रकल्पांवर (आणि कॉमन्सवर) गाणी /छायाचित्रे टाकण्यापुर्वी कॉपीराईट कायद्याची पुरेशी माहिती घेऊन गाण्याचे कवि (पोएट) , कंपोझर, गायक (सिंगर) या सर्वांकडून कॉपीराईट फ्री करण्याची लेखी परवानगी घेणे आवश्यक आहे त्या बद्दलचे फॉर्मॅट कॉमन्सवर आणि मराठी विकिपीडियावर उपलब्ध आहेत.

छत्रपती शिवाजी आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ[संपादन]

सांताक्रुझ विमानतळाचे प्रवेशद्वार सुरुवातीला सांताक्रुझ उपनगराच्या बाजूला होते, तेव्हा त्याला सांताक्रुझ विमानतळ म्हणू लागले. पुढे हे प्रवेशद्वार विले-पार्ले स्टेशनच्या बाजूला आल्यावरही तेच नाव काम राहिले. हे दोन्ही विमानतळ आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ होते. विमानतळाचे प्रवेशद्वार अंधेरीच्या बाजूला आल्यावर त्याला सहारा विमानतळ म्हणायला सुरुवात झाली. सहारा विमानतळ सुरू होण्यापूर्वी काही काळ चकाला तेथे विमानतळ होता; आता तेथे कार्गो विमानतळ आहे.

@ज: मी मुंबईचा रेहवासी आहे याची थोडी माहितीमला आहे. परंतु मुंबई सहरात दोन विमानतळ आहे एक की santacruz (डोमेस्टिक) वह दुसरे (सहार) छत्रपती शिवाजी आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळ (इंटर्नशनल) याची नोंद घ्यावी .जास्त माहितीसाठी तुम्ही en:Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport पाहावे. जर मी चुकलुअसेल तर मला समजावे --टायवीन२२४०माझ्याशी बोला ११:२३, १९ जानेवारी २०१७ (IST)[reply]

--- प्रत्यक्षात जुहू आणि सहार असे दोनच विमानतळ मुंबईत आहेत. सांताकुझ, विले पार्ले, चकाला आणि सहारा या सर्व विविध नावांनी ओळखल्या जाणार्‍या विमानतळांची Air Fields एकच आहेत. याशिवाय एअरफोर्स आणि नेव्ही यांची स्वतंत्र Air Fields मुंबईच्या अन्य भागांत आहेत.. मात्र त्या विमानतळांवर साधारणपणे फक्त हेलिकॉप्टर्सची चढ‍उतार होते. जुना सांताक्रुझ विमानतळ हा विमान ठेवायच्या हँगर्सच्या जवळ आहे. त्याच्या आसपासच कुर्ला-सांताक्रुझ रस्त्यावर तीन विंग्ज असलेल्या एका इमारतीत विमानतळावर काम करणार्‍या कर्मचार्‍यांची निवासस्थाने आहेत. डोमेस्टिक आणि आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमातळांना एकच नाव दिल्याने मोठा गोंधळ झाला आहे.

डोमेस्टिक आणि आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळांवरच्या मुख्य टर्मिनल्सना टर्मिनल ए, टर्मिनल बी ही नावे आहेत. या प्रत्येक टर्मिनलांचे ए-१ बी-२ आदी उपविभाग आहेत.
