मराठी विकिपीडिया हा मराठीतील मुक्त विश्वकोश निर्मिती प्रकल्प आहे.मराठी विकिपीडियावर सध्या ९६,१५७ लेख आहे व १४९ सक्रिय सदस्य आहेत. तुम्हाला हा प्रकल्प आवडेल आणि तुम्ही या प्रकल्पास साहाय्य कराल अशी आम्हाला आशा आहे. तुम्ही येथील सदस्य होऊन येथे वाचन आणि संपादन कराल अशी आम्हाला खात्री वाटते. नवीन सदस्यांना मार्गदर्शन हा लेख जरूर वाचावा. यामधून मराठी विकिपीडियामध्ये कसे योगदान देता येईल याचे मार्गदर्शन होईल. नवीन सदस्यांना संपादनासाठी उपयुक्त असलेल्या माहितीसाठी येथे टिचकी द्या. कृपया प्रताधिकारित असलेल्या पुस्तकांतून किंवा संकेतस्थळावरुन (वेबसाइट) कोणताही मजकूर नकल-डकव (कॉपी-पेस्ट) करू नका. असे केल्यास तुमच्यावर प्रतिबंध घालण्याची किंवा येथून तुम्हाला तडीपार करण्याची शक्यता आहे. Tip: There is now an editing tool that allows you to add TemplateData in a simpler way. Start with templates that are often used in articles, such as citation and reference templates, as well as infoboxes. The MostTranscludedPages special page on your wiki might help you find out which are the most important templates you need to work on. The ones which are heavily used in the article namespace have the priority. Tip: Check how other wikis did this. For example, here is the TemplateData for the {{Cite web}} template at the English Wikipedia. If you recently imported {{Cite web}} from that wiki and didn't customize it further, then copying and pasting their TemplateData will probably work for you.

Welcome and thank you for your recent edit/s using English language or a non-Marathi language.
This is Marathi language Wikipedia and here Marathi (in Devanagari script) it is the most preferred language of USAGE. Marathi Wikipedia provides you a comprehensive Marathi language support. You are welcome to practise your test edit/s using Marathi typing skills at our own local sandbox.
One can use non-Marathi language only on limited pages like Wikipedia embassy, but not in main article space, one will be appreciated if one removes non-Marathi text on their own from the main article namespace, if it is so used, otherwise your failure to do so may tempt other editors to edit/delete the same according to various agreed Marathi Wikipedia norms.

Attention! Kindly note that for all ARTICLES other than few essential exceptions, the article name has to be essentially in Marathi language (Devanagari script). For all those who are here with little or no familiarity with some or other form of Devanagari script, kindly take a note that grammar, usage of alphabets and pronounciation of "Devanagari script" in Marathi language is substantially different than in all other languages which use Devanagari script for writing, including that of Hindi language. We at "Marathi Wikipedia" hereby encourage you to have your first edits in Devanagari script at our discussion page (sandbox), where you can write your request/s before editing any NEW or MAIN article in Marathi Wikipedia.
