I personally don't feel removing the article. However the suggestion for using sketches instead of actual photos is quite fine. Instead of displaying pictures my suggestion is to give links to image pages wherever required and using sketches in the article.

As far as protection, I fully agree to protect this page from anonymous users. If someone wants to really contribute to it, he/she can always register a new user and do so. Also, as per my observations User:शलाका is also an established user of wikipedia (I tell this by looking at the first edit made by this user here). (PS. This is only an observation and there is no intention of hurting / pointing to someone.)

As far as opinion on Abhay's contributions, I fully agree with MHD's observations. He is most efficient and devoted member of wikipedia.

One more thing I would like to point out to all members/admins of marathi wiki. The same Mr. Shantanu Oak has SUPPORTED Abhay's request for beaurocratship (here). Now, I don't see any obvious reason of opposing him.

Let us all unite and make Wikipedia better.

इथे आणि ’तिथे’ घडलेल्या चर्चा वाचल्या. लोकहो, थोडं थंडपणे घ्या. कौस्तुभ म्हणतो तसे विकिपीडियाकरता धडपडणार्‍या (सध्या मोजक्या संख्येने असलेल्या) आपापसांत कडवटपणा नको.

बरे, आता माझी यातल्या काही मुद्द्यांवर मते:

• हा लेख उडवावा का?: गरज नाही. या गोष्टीदेखील विश्वकोशाचा भाग असतातच.
• लेखातल्या चित्रांबद्दल: लेखात शास्त्रीय, यथादर्शी माहिती देतील अशी चित्रे, छायाचित्रे, व्हिडिओक्लिपा असायला हरकत नाही. परंतु ती वापरताना मराठीभाषिक समाजातल्या श्लीलाश्लीलतेच्या संकेतांनुसार निर्णय घ्यावेत. म्हणजे, विकिकॉमन्सवर या विषयासंबंधित बरीच चित्रे असतील, आणि त्यातली वेगवेगळी चित्रे अन्यभाषिक विकिपीडियांवर वापरलीही असतील(प्रत्येक भाषिक समाजात श्लीलाश्लीलतेच्या, प्रशस्तपणाच्या मर्यादा कमीजास्त असतात.); परंतु आपल्या विकिपीडियावर(इथे ’आपल्या’ आपुलकीने आहे. मराठी विकिपीडिया ही माझी मालमत्ता नाही हे मला ठाऊक आहे.. :) ) आपल्या समाजातल्या प्रशस्तपणाच्या कल्पना भंगणार नाहीत अशा बेताने चित्रे निवडून लेखात लावावीत. याबाबत ढोबळ दिग्दर्शन करायचे तर - लिंगादी अवयवांची शास्त्रीय चित्रे मराठीभाषिक लोकांनी सरकारी माहितीपर कार्यक्रमांत, डॉक्टरांकडे, पाठ्यपुस्तकांत पाहिलेली असतात.. ती लावायला तर काहीच अडचण नाही. त्याखेरीज वास्तवदर्शी छायाचित्रे, व्हिडिओक्लिपा वापरताना मात्र निवडीचे तारतम्य बाळगावे (तारतम्य, मर्यादा या सर्व गोष्टी व्यक्तिसापेक्ष असतात खर्‍या, पण एकंदरीत सर्व लोकांचा विचार करून, पडसाद-प्रतिक्रियांबद्दल अंदाज बांधून काय ते ठरवावे.).
• अमुक-तमुक सदस्याच्या/सदस्येच्या संपादनांच्या उल्लेखाबद्दल: संपादनसंख्येचे आकडे बार्नस्टार द्यायला, कौतुकाची थाप द्यायला, सदस्यांच्या विकिअनुभवाच्या व्याप्तीबद्दल काही व्यावहारिक प्रसंगांमध्ये आडाखे बांधायला ठीक असतात. परंतु वादाच्या प्रसंगांमध्ये एकमेकांच्या किंवा इतरांच्या संपादनसंख्येचे आकडे उल्लेखण्यातून अकारण गैरसमज होऊ शकतात (म्हणजे, एखादा सदस्य फुशारकी मारतोय/ एखादा सदस्य कुणाची तरी लायकी मोजतोय या छापाचे गैरसमज). त्यामुळे वादांमध्ये संपादनसंख्येचा उल्लेख टाळावा.

This Article is 100 % scientific and informative and I also think that providing this information is not a Taboo on Wikipedia. I dont think we should bring Taboo and moral policing in Wikipedia. My request to Officers and moderators is not the delete this Article.

I don't think there was any need of accusing Abhay in this case, if anybody has a problem with the article/part of the article, he/she can go ahead and make the changes. As long as majority of the people have no problems with the changes, they are kept as is. I personally have no problems with the pictures in this article. Hello All,
I am resuming Wikipedia editing after a long break!
Saw this intersting discussion and wanted to share my opinion:

- I feel that this article should be there in wikipedia.
- Illustrations and sketches related to organ structure (रचना) should also be a part of it for better understanding.
- However, explicit pictures/photographs are ok but not recommended as a person of any age group can access it and also, depending on the POV, it becomes difficult to draw the line between pornography and scientific knowledge.
