When does the editing competition start?

The evaluation criteria of article need to be changed significantly

The articles in wikipedia are not objective type questions. They cannot and should not be judged based on length, number of links/references, and such unimportant criteria. One can write a 100 pages article just by copying from some other sources and inserting links for everything. It is also unlogical to cut points for any red links. If someone is writing on totally new topic say "cloning" then I don't think there will be many links in marathi wikipedia. In such situation the compititors can have "red" links and someone in future might write a new article on the red link. In fact an article should be judged for 1) structure of the article 2) quality of information 3) lack of plagiarization 3) flow of thoughts 4) grammer 4) quality of resources, etc There should be some points say 1 (bad) to 10 (excellent) for each criteria. Each reader can assign a certain number for each criteria. At the end, article can be ranked by summing or taking averages of all readers for all criteria. Hope all editors will be included in ranking the articles and not only moderators. --netizen
