इ.स. ४००मध्ये लंडनियमच्या भोवतालची भिंत

लंडनची भिंत ही इंग्लंडच्या लंडन शहरा भोवतालची प्राचीन तटबंदी आहे. ही तटबंदी रोमन लोकांनी सर्वप्रथम लंडनियम थेम्स नदीवरील वसाहती भोवती इ.स.च्या तिसऱ्या शतकात बांधली होती.

सुमारे दोनशे वर्षांनी इ.स. ४१० च्या आसपास ब्रिटनमधील रोमन राजवटीचा अंत झाल्याने ही भिंत ढासळायला लागली. अँग्लो-सॅक्सन कालावधीच्या उत्तरार्धात या भिंतीची पुनर्बांधणी करण्यात आली. साधारणतः ही बांधणी इ.स. ८८६ नंतर आल्फ्रिडच्या कालावधीत सुरू झाली असे मानले जाते. संपूर्ण मध्ययुगीन काळात याची दुरुस्ती आणि सुधारणा होत राहिल्या. कालांतराने लंडन शहराची वस्ती वाढल्यावर ही भिंत शहराची सीमा ठरली.

बार्बिकन एस्टेट जवळील बुरुज क्र. १२. रोमनांनी बांधलेल्या पायावर १३व्या शतकातील दगडी बांधकाम येथे दिसत आहे

१८व्या शतकापासून, लंडन शहराचा विस्तार होत असताना रहदारीचा प्रवाह सुधारण्यासाठी या तटबंदीचे त्यावरील बुरुजांसह मोठे भाग पाडून टाकण्यात आले. दुस-या महायुद्धानंतर भिंतीचे टिकलेले भाग जतन केले गेले आहेत.
