भीमसेन खुराणा (२४ नोव्हेंबर १९३६ - १७ एप्रिल २०१८) एक भारतीय चित्रपट दिग्दर्शक, निर्माता, पटकथा लेखक आणि ॲनिमेटर होता.[१][२][३][४][५][६] त्यांचे गुरू राम मोहन यांच्यासह ते भारतीय ॲनिमेशनचे प्रणेते म्हणून ओळखले जातात.[७][८][९] ॲनिमेशनमधील विविध कामांसाठी त्यांना अनेक राष्ट्रीय चित्रपट पुरस्कार मिळाले आहेत.[१०][११][१२]
अमोल पालेकर व जरीना वहाब अभिनीत समीक्षकांनी प्रशंसित घरोंडा (१९७७)आणि शर्मिला टागोर व उत्तम कुमार अभिनीत दुरियां (१९७९) दिग्दर्शित करण्यासाठी ते प्रसिद्ध आहेत.[१३][१४] १९७० च्या दशकात दूरदर्शनवर प्रसारित झालेल्या एक और एकता (१९७४) [१५] [१६] [१७] या ॲनिमेशन लघुपटासाठीही ते ओळखले जातात. भीमसेन यांनी भारतातील सर्वात मोठी ॲनिमेशन मालिका वर्तमान (१९९४) दिग्दर्शित केली आहे.[१८][१९][२०]
