हॅकरनून (HackerNoon)[१] ही कोलेरॅडो मधील 'एडवर्ड' येथे स्थित असलेली तंत्रद्यानासंदर्भात मजकूर प्रसिद्ध करणारी आणि प्रकाशनासंबंधी सॉफ्टवेर बनवणारी कंपनी आहे.[२][३]
हॅकरनूनवर प्रकाशित केले जाणारे लेख प्रामुख्याने तंत्रज्ञान विषयक असून[४][५][६] मुख्यत्वे कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता(artificial intelligence)[७], ब्लॉकचेन[८], क्रिप्टोकरन्सी[९][१०][११][१२], प्रोग्रामिंग[13][14][15][16], स्टार्टअप्स [17][55]आणि सॉफ्टवेर[18][19][20[21][22][23][24][25][26][27] संदर्भात असतात. हॅकरनूनकडे प्रकाशनासाठी आलेले लेख संपादकांच्या टीमकडून तपासले जातात.[28][31]
हॅकरनूनची स्थापना २०१६ मध्ये झाली होती आणि लिन दाओ स्मूक आणि डेव्हिडस्मूक ह्या नवऱ्या-बायकोच्या जोडप्याकडून ही कंपनी चालवली जात आहे.[32][33][34]
इतिहास
[संपादन]डेव्हिड स्मूकने ३ एप्रिल २०१६ रोजी हॅकरनून डोमेन रजिस्टर केले. कंपनीचं सुरुवातीचं नाव ‘आर्टमॅप इं.’ (ArtMap Inc.) होतं आणि आणि वेगळे होऊन स्वतःचे प्रकाशन उघडण्याआधी Medium बरोबर संलग्नपणे लेख प्रकाशित केले जात होते.[35][36][37][38]
हॅकरनूनवर २२ नोव्हेंबर २०१७ रोजी डेटा साइण्टिस्ट जेफ काओने लिहिलेल्या More than a Million Pro-Repeal Net Neutrality Comments were Likely Faked ह्या लेखाची दखल फेडरल कम्युनिकेशन्स कमिशनने भविष्यवादाबद्दल केलेल्या निवेदनात घेतली[39]40]. विकिपीडियाचे संस्थापक जिमी वेल्स ह्यांची हॅकरनूनने २०१८ साली मुलाखत घेतली. विकिपीडियाबद्दल बोलताना ते म्हणाले, “माणसं फुकटात काम करतात हा भ्रम आहे, ते फुकटात मजा करतात”[41].
२०१८ च्या शेवटी हॅकरनूनने गुंतवणूकदारांकडून १.०७ मिलियन अमेरिकन डॉलर्स गोळा केले, ज्यात गुगलकडून एक लाख अमेरिकन डॉलर्सचं अनुदान मिळालं[42][43]. हा निधी सुरक्षित केल्यानंतर हॅकरनूनने स्वतःचा प्रकाशनाचा मंच बनवला जेणेकरून वापरकर्त्यांना निशुल्कपणे वेबसाईट बघता येईल.[44][45][46][47]
हॅकरनूनला २०२०मध्ये Coil, Genesis आणि GCVF कडून मायक्रोपेमेन्ट बनवण्यासाठी आणि वेबसाईट वाढवण्यासाठी १.५ मिलियन अमेरिकन डॉलर्स धोरणात्मक निधी मिळाला[48][49][50][51][52][53] . मॉझिला(Mozilla)ने बिल्डर्स इन्क्युबेटर्स भाग म्हणून पिक्सलेटेड इन-लाईन ईमोजी रिऍक्शन्स(pixelated inline emoji reactions) बनवण्याकरता हॅकरनूनला अघोषित अनुदान दिले [54].
हॅकरनूनच्या रेव्हेन्यू मॉडेलमध्ये वेगवेगळ्या मोहिमांच्या क्लायंट प्रायोजकत्वांचा, प्लॅटफॉर्मपुरते निधी सौदे आणि नवीन तंत्रज्ञान उपक्रम यांचा समावेश आहे.[56][57][58][59][60][61][62]
सॉफ्टवेर
[संपादन]हॅकरनूनने ‘सामग्री व्यवस्थापन प्रणाली’(Content Management System)[44], ‘सलॉगिंग’(Slogging)[13] आणि ‘नुनीज मतदान सॉफ्टवेर’(Noonies Voting Software)[66] बनवले आहे. hackernoon.comचे काम सामग्री व्यवस्थापन प्रणालीद्वारे केले जाते. ते गुगल क्लाउड प्लॅटफॉर्म आणि व्हरसेल[2] ह्यांचा वापर करून बनवले आहे. स्लॉगिंग हे ऍप 'स्लॅक' वर झालेली संभाषणे एका लेखाच्या रूपात आणतं[65]. नुनीज हे तंत्रद्यानासंदर्भात असलेल्या कंपन्या आणि नावीन्य ह्यांचा पुरस्कार करण्यासाठी हॅकरनूनने सुरू केलेला वार्षिक उपक्रम आहे [29][68].
