Usage
This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code ru to include articles in [[:Category:Articles containing Russian -language text]], if the category was created (using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Russian |ru}}). For example: {{Lang |ru |some text in Russian }}, which wraps the text with <span lang="ru">. Also available is {{Lang-ru |some text in Russian }} which displays as रशियन: some text in Russian .
It is used by {{ru icon}} and {{Link language|ru}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to [[:Category:Articles with Russian -language external links]], if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=ru |name=Russian }}).
