Usage
This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code el to include articles in [[:Category:Articles containing Greek -language text]], if the category was created (using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Greek |el}}). For example: {{Lang |el |some text in Greek }}, which wraps the text with <span lang="el">. Also available is {{Lang-el |some text in Greek }} which displays as ग्रीक: some text in Greek .
It is used by {{el icon}} and {{Link language|el}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to [[:Category:Articles with Greek -language external links]], if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=el |name=Greek }}).
