चर्चा:आइ नदी
The name for "Aie river" in Assamese is আই নদী (আই- pronounced AAI) and so the name in Devnagari should be आइ नदी। We don't have an article about this river in our wikipedia yet. I'm taking help of other wikipedians regarding other queries mentioned in the village pump of Assamese wikipedia. Gitartha.bordoloi (चर्चा) २३:५३, २४ फेब्रुवारी २०१४ (IST)

[संपादन]The river crosses Guwahati-Rangiya-New Bongaigaon Mainline of Northeast Frontier Railway between the stations Bijni and Patiladoha.
Erosion is a major problem with this river. In 2005 the river changed course but obstructed by railway road it again turned back to its old course after flowing many kilometers by the train line. Later the flood control department blocked the mouth of the new course and the leftover water bodies are used as fisheries now.
