अमृतपाल सिंग संधू (जन्म:१७ जानेवारी, १९९३)[१] [२] हे एक पंजाब मधील खलिस्तान समर्थक राजकारणी आहेत. संधू हे २०२४ पासून लोकसभेचे खासदार म्हणून खदूर साहिब मतदारसंघाचे प्रतिनिधीत्व करत आहेत.[३][४][५]
एक दशक दुबईमध्ये राहिल्यानंतर, सप्टेंबर २०२२ मध्ये संधू पंजाबला परत आले. त्यांची वादग्रस्त वारिस पंजाब दे संघटनेचा नेता म्हणून नियुक्ती झाली. त्यांनी तरुणांना ड्रग्जपासून परावृत्त करण्यासाठी, शीख धर्माचे पारंपारिक स्वरूप स्वीकारण्यास प्रोत्साहित करणारी मोहीम सुरू केली आणि स्वतंत्र पंजाबी शीख राष्ट्र खलिस्तान चे समर्थन केले.[६][७][८]
भारतीय गुप्तचर सूत्रांनी असा दावा केला आहे की संधूला इंटर-सर्व्हिसेस इंटेलिजन्स (ISI) चे समर्थन आहे, त्यांनी आनंदपूर खालसा फौज (AKF) नावाची खाजगी फौज उभारून त्यासाठी शस्त्रास्त्रांचा साठा केला आहे.[९] [१०] मार्च 2023 मध्ये, राज्य सरकारने केंद्र सरकारच्या समन्वयाने संधू आणि त्याच्या साथीदारांवर कठोर कारवाई सुरू केली. त्याला 23 एप्रिल 2023 रोजी राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा कायदा (भारत) अंतर्गत अटक करण्यात आली होती.
