Ganeshostab and Ganeshchaturthi[संपादन]

Are the two of these same? We, Newars of Nepal, celebrate Ganeshchaturthi (or Chathaa) by worshipping Ganapati as well. So, am interested in knowing whether the Ganeshostab and Ganesh wisarjan is a way to celebrate the same festival as well. Thank you. --Eukesh ११:४९, १५ सप्टेंबर २००७ (UTC)

Hi Eukesh, Ganeshotsav means the festival of 10/12 days which starts today till the Ganesh chaturthi. Ganesh chaturthi is the visarjan day. महाराष्ट्र एक्सप्रेस १२:०७, १५ सप्टेंबर २००७ (UTC)

That is not correct. Ganeshotsav starts on Ganesh Chaturthi (4th day since new moon) and ends on Ananta Chaturdashi (14th day since new moon) which is the visarjan day.
