At just 31 years & 10 months old, peeled off the skin & removed the eyes with a hot steel spear inside will believe that the courage to stand firm on his intentions will inspire today's young generation.... I believe so. I saw many who feared death but i have seen the first one who was the fearless about death......

फक्त साठ सत्तर हजारांची फौज घेऊन एकीकडे स्वजनांशी लढा देत हा राजा सर्व बाजूंच्या वेगवेगळ्या कट कारस्थानी शत्रुंना कसा काय सामोरी जात असेल, याचा विचार केला तर छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज हे असामान्य होते हे ध्यानात येईल.
"इथे गवतास भाले फुटतात" असा या महाराष्ट्राच्या मातीच्या लढवय्येपणाचा गुणधर्म आहे.
प्रत्यक्ष युद्धात भाग घेऊन फोंडा किल्ल्याच्या आक्रमणाच्यावेळी गोव्याच्या व्हॉइसरॉय चा घोड्यासह खाडीत उडी घेऊन पाठलाग करणारा राजा संभाजी इतिहासात एकमेव....
म्हणून खाफीखान म्हणतो "शंभूराजा तो सिवासे दसगुना सता रहा है"
आपण फक्त व्यापारासाठी आलोय अस दाखवणारे ब्रिटिश राज्यकर्तेच बनण्यासाठी आलेत अशा ठाम विश्वासाने इंग्रजांच्या राजापूर च्या वखारीवर हल्ला चढवणारे संभाजी महाराज आणि मुंबई च्या बंदरावर त्यांचा धान्यपुरवठा व गुलामांचा व्यापार थांबवणाऱ्या संभाजी महाराजांचा इतिहास च अपेक्षित आहे आम्हाला.....
वाघ - चित्तानी हेवा करावा असे शंभूराजांचे व्यक्तिमत्व आजच्या आळशी व मौज मजेत राहणाऱ्या युवा पिढीला खडबडून जागे करणारे आहे. फक्त 31 व्या वर्षी तप्त सळईने डोळे काढल्यावर,,,, कातडी सोलून काढल्यावर ही आपल्या स्वतःच्या मतांवर ठाम राहण्याची त्यांची जिद्द आजच्या युवा पिढीला संकटाला सामोरी जाण्याची हिम्मत देणारी आहे.
