चर्चा:शिशुवय

मानवी वाढ व विकासाच्या संपूर्ण कालखंडातील एका कालखंडावरील ("वाढ व विकास" या वर्गातील) हा लेख असल्याने लेखाचे नाव "शिशुवय" असावे असे वाटते. तसेच लेख-नावांतील सुसूत्रतेच्या दृष्टीने भ्रूणावस्था, गर्भावस्था, अर्भकावस्था, शिशुवय, बालवय, कुमारवय, किशोरवय, तारुण्य प्रौढत्व आणि वार्धक्य अशी लेख-नावे असावीत असे वाटते.

यांपैकी "बाळ" (नवजात अर्भक), "बालवय", किशोरवय", "तारुण्य", "प्रौढत्व" आणि "वृद्वावस्था" असे लेख उपलब्ध आहेत. गर्भावस्थेविषयी लेख "गर्भ" या नावाने आहे आणि "गर्भावस्था" हा लेख गर्भारपणाविषयी (Pregnancy) आहे. "कुमारवय" हा लेख नाही.

सुसूत्रीकरणाची सुरुवात करण्यासाठी "शिशु" या लेखाचे नाव बदलून "शिशुवय" असे बदलत आहे (स्थानांतरण). कारण यात 2 ओळीच मजकूर आहे, या कालखंडाला उद्देशून "शिशुवय" असा उल्लेखही आहे आणि फार जोडण्या नसाव्यात असे वाटते.

याविषयीच्या आपल्या काही सूचना असल्यास त्या याच पानावर द्याव्यात म्हणजे सोय़ीचे होईल.

Thanks a lot sir for discussing it. I would suggest to keep the title as शिशु only. There shall be no issue if you add lot of information about शिशुवय in it. As शिशु is the original word and शिशुवय is a time period describing that word, the original article about main word is necessary in my humble opinion.

I am very much interested in the 'definitions' of different scientific terminologies and their translation in Marathi. Definitions are extremely important in science because if definitions are not clearly defined, there are chances of ambiguity and this can lead to big chaos. I do not know if one should define anything and everything in the world, but at least when we are dealing with science, definitions are utmost important.
