या गोष्टी करून पहा -

1. सदस्य पान तयार करणे - स्वत:ची थोडक्यात माहिती लिहिणे, आवड,छंद, कौशल्ये इ.
   

या पानावर संपादन करताना - परिच्छेद, शब्द ठळक/तिरपा करणे, बिंदी व अनुक्रमित यादी, दुवा देणे, संदर्भ देणे इ. मुलभूत गोष्टी समजून घेणे.

1. आपल्याला आवडणाऱ्या कोणत्याही लेखाचे नाव 'शोधा' खिडकीत टाकून लेख उघडणे. लेखात किमान एक-दोन वाक्याची योग्य ती भर घालणे. अशा १० लेखांत भर घालणे. अलीकडील बदल मध्ये 'आपण १० संपादनांचा टप्पा ओलांडला, अभिनंदन!' असा संदेश दिसेपर्यंत संपादने करणे. याचा उद्देश लेखाची रचना, भाषा, व इतर विकिपीडिया पद्धती जाणणे असाही आहे.
2. 'माझ्या पसंती' मध्ये संपादनांची संख्या पाहणे. 'माझे योगदान' मध्ये आपण काय कृती केली ती पाहणे. अलीकडील बदल मध्ये नोंदी पाहणे.

मराठी विकिपीडियावर एकदा लेख/साचा/दालन उपस्तीत आहे की नाही? हे पाहण्यास आपण special:search वापरावा. त्यात एकदा साचेचे नाव टाका. काही साचे असे आहेत ज्याचे नाव इंग्लिश मध्ये आपल्याला भेटेल . भेटले की ते साचे बनवण्याचे गरज नाही. जर नाव इंग्लिश मध्ये नाही तर एकदा इंग्लिश विकिपीडियावर जेवावे आणि लेफ्ट सईद एक ऑपशन असते. नमस्कार! गेल्या चार वर्षांपासून, मराठी विकिपीडियावर विकिपीडिया आशियाई महिना (WAM) असे कार्यक्रम आयोजित केला जाते. हा कार्यक्रम आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावर यशस्वी असते, विविध विकिपीडिया प्रकल्पात शेकडो संपादकानीं आशियायी विषयांवर हजारो लेख तयार करतात.

Here are the basic guidance and regulations for organizers. Please remember to:

1. use Fountain tool (you can find the usage guidance easily on meta page), or else you and your participants’ will not be able to receive the prize from WAM team.
2. Add your language projects and organizer list to the meta page before October 29th, 2020.
3. Inform your community members WAM 2020 is coming soon!!!

Wikimedia Foundation Community Board seats: Call for feedback meeting

The Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees is organizing a call for feedback about community selection processes between February 1 and March 14. While the Wikimedia Foundation and the movement have grown about five times in the past ten years, the Board’s structure and processes have remained basically the same. As the Board is designed today, we have a problem of capacity, performance, and lack of representation of the movement’s diversity. Direct elections tend to favor candidates from the leading language communities, regardless of how relevant their skills and experience might be in serving as a Board member, or contributing to the ability of the Board to perform its specific responsibilities. It is also a fact that the current processes have favored volunteers from North America and Western Europe. As a matter of fact, there had only been one member who served on the Board, from South Asia, in more than fifteen years of history.

In the upcoming months, we need to renew three community seats and appoint three more community members in the new seats. This call for feedback is to see what processes can we all collaboratively design to promote and choose candidates that represent our movement and are prepared with the experience, skills, and insight to perform as trustees? In this regard, it would be good to have a community discussion to discuss the proposed ideas and share our thoughts, give feedback and contribute to the process. [Wikimedia Foundation elections 2021] Candidates meet with South Asia + ESEAP communities

As you may already know, the 2021 Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees elections are from 4 August 2021 to 17 August 2021. Members of the Wikimedia community have the opportunity to elect four candidates to a three-year term. After a three-week-long Call for Candidates, there are 20 candidates for the 2021 election.

An event for community members to know and interact with the candidates is being organized. During the event, the candidates will briefly introduce themselves and then answer questions from community members. The event details are as follows:

• Date: 31 July 2021 (Saturday)
• Timings: check in your local time

• Bangladesh: 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm
• India & Sri Lanka: 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm

@अभय नातू:: मी काहीवेळेस शब्दशः भषांतर करतो, ते मी कमी करेल. पण मी एक काम नक्की करतो कि कोणताही वर्ग तयार केल्यावर त्याच्या इंग्रजी वर्गाशी जोडतो. पण जर का त्याचा मराठी वर्ग असेल आणि तो थोडासा वेगळा असेल तर तो तसाच राहतो. खर तर तो दुसरा वर्ग तयार करताना जर का इंग्रजी वर्गाशी जोडला असता तर अस झाल नसत.

COT is working hard to ensure we bring together a conference that is truly meaningful and impactful for our movement and one that brings us all together. Dear all,

The Wikipedia Asian Month 2023[1] is coming ! The campaign start within a flexible 30 days from November to December. Following with the changes of the rules made by last year, the wish to have more people get to know Asia and Asian related topic is the same! Click "Here" to Organize/Join a WAM Event.

1. Propose "Focus Theme" related to Asia !

If you are based somewhere in Asia, or have specific passion on an Asian topic, please propose your "Focus Theme" by October 25th. The WAM international team will select 5 themes. Please propose your focus theme through this link[2].

2. Enhancing existing articles can also count as part of campaign contribution.

Any edits, including creating new articles or adding new content to existing articles, over 3000 bytes in total would be able to get a reward. Last year, due to this change of rules, the Programs & Events Dashboard was suggested. However, according to community survey of 2022, Fountain Tool is still the best platform for tracking edit and points. You don’t need to create any Dashboard. For the tracking of editing existing article, the international team is currently designing a form. Will soon publish to the main page of WAM 2023.

3. More flexible campaign time

The contribution duration would remain 30days, but we extended the overall campaign timeline to 2 months. All organizers can decide when to start their WAM as long as the whole duration is within November 1st to December 31th. It means that you can participate in WAM based on the needs of your local community.

Timetable

• October 1st, 2023 : Publish International Campaign Page of the Year
• October 5th to 25th, 2023 : Call for focus themes of WAM 2023.
• Before 29 October, 2023: Complete Registration [3] of Each language Wikipedia.
• November 1st, UTC 00:00 to December 31th, UTC 00:00, 2023: Running the Campaign. (Find your local campaign for the actual event date.)
• January 1st to March 15th, 2024: Auditing of each language Wikipedia.
• March 30th, 2024: Deadline of reporting statistics and eligible editors to the International Team
• April 1st to May 15th, 2024: The international team distributes Barnstars and Certificates to eligible editors of each event.
